So this is me. I write about pretty much anything that grabs my interest or moves me in some way. This means I will cover quite a wide range of subjects. Oh, and I also tend to mention Stephen Fry a lot. Because he’s awesome 🙂
My last few posts have made me decide to try and blog about particular subjects that I find interesting and that I think will inform and/or entertain others. If you like (or don’t like!) what you read here, do let me know. If you feel there is something else I could have added in or pointed out (or if you find a huge mistake!), mention it to me and I will try and rectify it.

ZanyZigZag, I came across your site while marshalling facts for work on Cecil Sharp. My plan is one short chatty piece for the Conduit magazine and one longer, more scholarly, for the Historical Dance Society.
Do you mind if I use some of your article, with proper credits? You summarise neatly some of the background, and although I don’t mean to steal your work out of laziness, permission to borrow would save me re-inventing the wheel. I don’t know yet which bits I’d use, nor whether they’d be cited verbatim or referred to in passing.
